SensL is focused on a wide range of applications which use low light detection. Typically these products have utilized older photomultiplier tube technology, however, due to the high cost, poor availability and complex engineering requirements most next generation products are moving to solid state versions of low light detectors called “silicon photomultipliers” or SPM.
